Committee member (speaker 2) reported a foreclosed property on 2nd Street now owned by US Bank that has not responded to email or voicemail and is showing signs of violation. "This is a foreclosed property that's now under ownership by US Bank," speaker 2 said, and described difficulty contacting the bank through its email-only system.
Speaker 2 said they will prepare and file an ordinance violation that documents how many days the property has been in violation; options discussed included mowing and billing the property owner and assessing fines if the bank fails to respond. The board directed staff to track days in violation and pursue established enforcement procedures.
