Mayor Diane Kohout called the City of Electric City special council meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. on Aug. 29, 2024, at City Hall. Roll call showed Council Members Robbin Boyce, Brian Buche, Matt Gilbert, Blake Martin and Don Redfield present; staff included Public Works Director Travis Irwin and City Clerk/Treasurer Peggy Nevsimal.
The council approved the meeting agenda on a motion made and seconded by Don Redfield and Blake Martin, recorded in the minutes as M/S (Redfield/Martin) CU. Under new business the council considered a parcel acquisition and approved an offer; the meeting adjourned at 7:16 p.m. following a motion to adjourn (M/S Boyce/Redfield).
