Council hears updates on paving, sewer lining and park grant deadlines

City Engineer Marissa Siemens reported on multiple infrastructure projects at the Sept. 10 meeting. "TD&H is in the final engineering stage for the sewer lining project and anticipate going out to bid by the end of September," the minutes state. The Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) chip-seal/seal-coat work is complete and contractors will return next month for a final walkthrough.
Public Works Director Travis Irwin reported ongoing operational work: meter installation continues, townwide sewer cleaning has begun, and water-reservoir preparation and painting are finished. The minutes also note that cost-sharing numbers for ABA projects at Coulee Playland are complete and that the RCO boating facilities funding application is due Oct. 31, which staff listed as a near-term grant deadline.
