Clint Drury reported the City of Deer Park "has been selected for an award of $400,000 in loan funding for the Deer Park Municipal Well Planning Project" and said he will have a Task Order for council approval at the next meeting. Drury also said he is preparing for irrigation season.
Public works and other staff noted an unusually mild winter: Brad Wainwright said road restrictions were not needed this year, and Jake Barlass said the mild season did not slow building permits. The loan award will enable well planning work; staff will present a Task Order for council consideration to begin project planning and use of the loan funds.
