Skamania schools report 100% immunization compliance and positive OSPI program review
Summary
District staff told the board the December compliance report showed 100% immunization compliance (students vaccinated, with exceptions, or conditionally catching up). OSPI program reviewers commended the district after minor adjustments; winter diagnostics are complete.
Superintendent Milt Dennison and Office Manager Amber Warren reported that when the district submitted its compliance report in December it was 100% in compliance: all students were either fully vaccinated, had submitted an exception, or were in conditional status while catching up on required vaccines.
Milt also reported that OSPI’s program review will be finalized after a few minor adjustments and that the review team commended the district for addressing many areas in the first round. Winter diagnostics testing is complete and staff will meet to analyze data and adjust spring intervention groups. The minutes list the Dr. Seuss breakfast on Feb. 28 and note a snow make-up day on March 14.
