Town Center requests $250,000 in CIP; wastewater options remain under study

Marilyn Ozols told members the Town Center’s capital improvement request for 2026–27 is $250,000 and that the money could be used toward a Town Center wastewater system if the town votes to move in that direction. She said the funding could alternatively support other Town Center projects and initiatives.
At the Town Center Revitalization Committee meeting, planners said they are updating cost estimates and the design engineer is reaching out to the State to explore available funding. Gillespie reported Westbrook has been added to the Clean Water Fund priority list, which improves access to state funding programs; staff will follow up on specific program terms and potential funding timelines before returning to committee.
