The Skamania School District #2 Board of Directors approved its consent agenda at the Jan. 22 meeting, confirming the Dec. 18 regular-meeting minutes and routine payments. Accounts payable check numbers 30370 through 30388 total $44,089.32; a Capital Projects check 225 is $3,069.45; and payroll checks 30389 through 30398 total $138,068.64. Angus Anderson moved to approve the consent agenda and Martin “Rowdy” LaFevers seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Board Chair Donald Collins summarized the district’s current budget balances. The General Fund had an ending balance of $259,986.50 (the budgeted figure was $262,578). Collins said the district expects additional funds in February, contributing to an overall “good” fiscal position. The Capital Projects account holds $22,781.75 (to be used for the portable roof project), the ASB account is $2,523.86, and Transportation funds total $138,550.03. The board did not take additional formal action on budget adjustments at this meeting.
