Town advances coastal resiliency work; West Beach–Pilot's Point named pilot area

Peter Gillespie told the commission that the town has retained two firms and will meet on May 12 to begin moving coastal resiliency projects toward implementation. Gillespie said the town is in line for a potential grant that could provide free technical assistance for design and implementation.
Gillespie noted the West Beach neighborhood to Pilot's Point has been identified as a candidate pilot area. Commission members were briefed on next steps and the potential for community outreach as technical work proceeds.
