Westbrook staff: CTDOT encroachment permit required for Boston Post Road (West) sidewalks

"The DPW needs to pursue an encroachment permit for this project from the CTDOT," Planning staff member Peter Gillespie said. The commission flagged the permitting step as a critical prerequisite and advised staff to track the CTDOT schedule closely and report back on any impacts to the project timeline. No vote or budget action was taken at the meeting; members asked staff to continue coordination with state authorities.
