Jeff Yrsha, speaking during the Road Foreman report, told the Selectboard that Green Mountain Power (GMP) powerline work may require temporarily closing a section of Dale Road, possibly overnight, to allow concrete to harden. He asked the board to anticipate short-term localized traffic impacts if the closure is required.
Yrsha also said a town truck has been taken to an International dealership for repairs but mechanics have not yet identified the source of a reported noise. He briefed the board on generator maintenance at the garage and said ditching and grading work has been limited this season by weather.
No formal vote or schedule for the Dale Road closure was recorded; Yrsha said he would update the board if firm timing is required.
