The Mansfield School Board on June 23 approved consent agenda items that included May payroll totaling $205,631.37 and General Fund accounts payable of $36,316.57. Business Manager Kim Pease presented May fund balances showing a General Fund balance of $479,178.54 and a Capital Projects balance of $140,991.07.
Board members then set a budget planning assumption for 2026–27: the board voted to build next year’s budget assuming 85 full-time-equivalent (FTE) students. The motion to use 85 FTE was moved by Tara Tupling and seconded by Dusty Wittig and carried. The board also reviewed ASB and TV fund balances and scheduled the district’s budget hearing for July 28, 2026.
