Nicole Durbin, who identified herself as an employee of Family Resources Serving the Quad Cities, used the Committee of the Whole public-comment period on April 15 to ask the county to consider allocating opioid-settlement funds to assist clients from Rock Island County.
Durbin told the board that 75% of Family Resources’ clients are from Rock Island County and provided her contact information to Chairman Richard Brunk for follow-up. The comment was made during the committee’s public-comment portion; no formal action was taken at the meeting to allocate funds.
