Teri Selzer, Jackson County Fair manager, told the Board of Supervisors at its April 14 meeting that the roof at the Pearson Memorial Center has an issue that needs contractor review. Selzer asked the board to arrange a meeting or phone call with Beckwith Commercial Roofing, which installed the roof and a snow-retention system the county paid $31,286.00 for.
Board members agreed that county staff should contact Beckwith Commercial Roofing to discuss the problem and next steps; no formal motion or contract amendment was taken at the meeting. The matter will return to the board after staff reports back on the contractor’s response and any recommended repairs or warranty claims.
