The South Cle Elum Town Council adopted two updated franchise ordinances on June 2. After town attorney Jeff Slothower told the council the franchise agreements were acceptable, Councilmember Ditsworth moved to adopt Updated Ordinance No. 669 for NFC Northwest, LLC; Sandretto seconded and the motion passed by majority vote. Ditsworth then moved to adopt Updated Ordinance No. 670 for Ziply Fiber Pacific, LLC; Sandretto seconded and that motion also passed by majority vote.
The council did not record amendments or conditions during the meeting; the ordinances update the town’s franchise agreements with the named providers. Staff will complete the administrative steps to publish the adopted ordinances and file them as ordinances No. 669 and 670.
