Board fills motor grader vacancies and approves structure replacement on 148th Street

The board approved internal reassignments to fill vacant motor grader positions: Cory Melchert to the Edinburgh outshop, Matt Gapinski to the Morley outshop, and Kevin Skinner to the Wyoming outshop. The motion to fill the positions was moved by Supervisor Schlarmann and seconded by Supervisor Hall and carried unanimously.
The board also approved a time-and-material contract with B&J Hauling & Excavation, using pricing from the current Stone City bridge project, to replace a structure on 148th Street with two large twin pipes. The contract approval was moved by Supervisor Swisher and seconded by Supervisor Hall; the motion carried on a unanimous vote.
