Emergency Management Director Keri Korthals presented the proclamation and the Board acted to adopt it. “Resolution No. 26-32, a Proclamation of a Local Disaster Emergency for Butler County during the week of June 21st through June 27th, 2026,” was moved by Commissioner Darren Jackson and seconded by Commissioner Kelly Herzet. The motion carried 5-0.
The proclamation was added as a non-agenda item during the meeting; the Board did not attach follow-up tasks or appropriations in the motion recorded at the session. The resolution will be retained in the county records as Resolution No. 26-32.
