The Soap Lake City Council on Dec. 18 approved an encroachment agreement allowing Soap Lake Rentals, LLC to install HVAC units on the exterior of 223 E Main Ave. Councilmember Carlson moved the measure and Councilmember Gorman seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
City Planner Kovach and the Fire Chief will perform final inspections once the units are installed to verify easement access and clearance requirements are met. The minutes note the agreement includes easement access terms and that final sign-off is contingent on those safety checks.
