The Soap Lake City Council voted unanimously Jan. 15 to accept the 2024 Pavement Preservation Project (G&O #23876.22; TIB No. 2-E-864(011)-1) as complete. Councilmember Olson moved the acceptance and Councilmember Woodhouse seconded; the motion "carried unanimously."
Mayor Peter Sharp noted actions taken by contractor Tomer to finish the project to the city's satisfaction. The acceptance formally closes the city's contract for the pavement-preservation work carried out last year, and the council recorded the acceptance as part of its old-business agenda. The project is tied to TIB funding referenced by the project number above.
