For 2027 Knight recommended a conservative planning assumption—a projected 30% decrease in hotel tax revenue—and estimated revenues at about $1.9 million with expenditures aligned to that estimate. Judge Phil Crowley moved to approve the revised FY2026 budget and the proposed FY2027 budget; Shay Hall seconded the motion, and the board approved both by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
