Council tables ordinance to shrink council from seven to five members

City Attorney Norton told the council that, if adopted, the ordinance would not take effect until the next general election in November and explained that current vacancies and the terms of sitting members would determine the transition timing for affected seats.
The ordinance was assigned number 2025-1347 if passed; the council did not take final action and scheduled further consideration for a future meeting.
