Chad Braegger, a member of the Planning Commission, told the council that the commission is amending the zoning ordinance table of uses and that a preliminary plan for Granite Ridge Subdivision Phase 6 was tabled due to access concerns. The commission also approved a conditional use permit for a basement apartment conversion and scheduled a work session for continued discussion on these items.
The planning commission’s recommendation to change the Subdivision Land Use Authority nomenclature (SLUA to PART) was forwarded to council and accepted. The council noted the complexity of the zoning amendments and the need for additional work sessions.
