The Alameda County Board Planning Committee handled routine business at the start of its meeting: the committee adopted the minutes of an earlier planning meeting and approved the consent calendar, which included a staff recommendation to record cost abatement and authorize assessment liens for properties in violation of the Neighborhood Preservation Ordinance.
Supervisor Tam moved the consent calendar and Supervisor Marquez seconded; the items passed unanimously. The clerk confirmed roll-call attendance at the outset. The board also set scheduling and procedural direction for two appeals: it continued the 2568 Grove Way appeal to the November planning meeting and took the tobacco retailer appeal to a vote later in the session.
