Staff explained the parcel was created during a reconfiguration of South Weber Drive for the 2002 Winter Olympics and would be advantageous to incorporate into the Gateway project plat.
Councilwoman Angie Petty moved to approve the resolution and Councilman Blair Halverson seconded; the council adopted the declaration by roll call vote. No conditions or offers from third parties were presented at the hearing; staff will proceed with necessary plat adjustments as part of the Gateway project.
