Board approves not‑to‑exceed $150,233 task order for construction‑phase services

The Airport Development Board recommended approval of Task Order 4 with Cutchins and Grow for construction‑phase implementation work under a not‑to‑exceed amount of $150,233.04. Don said Cutchins and Grow have supported grant applications and construction planning and that staff had asked another firm to prepare an independent fee estimate (IFE) to verify market rates.
"That is that would be a not to exceed," Don said when introducing the proposal and noted the IFE could lead staff to renegotiate the price before council approval. The board moved, seconded and approved the not‑to‑exceed task order by voice vote. Don said the task order is grant‑eligible work and any final price taken to council will reflect IFE results if negotiations are needed.
