Marshall County’s public forum on March 25 included routine announcements and county operational concerns. Auditor Nan Benson said the office planned to participate in the Statewide Severe Weather Awareness tornado drill at 10:00 a.m.; Paul Geilenfeldt, the county engineer, reported multiple complaints this winter about sod torn up by plows and said the county does not have capacity to repair all damaged areas.
Chair Jarret Heil reminded the public that a Property Tax Levy public hearing would be held later that day at 5:00 p.m. The board adjourned the meeting at 9:43 a.m.
