At its March 25 meeting, the Marshall County Board of Supervisors approved a multi-item consent agenda that included approval of prior minutes, audited claims, and several administrative items.
The board approved hiring Shane Holmes as a Maintenance Tech 1 in Buildings and Grounds at $22.00 per hour, effective on or after March 30, 2026. The board also filed manure management plans for P-349 #67105 (1441 120th St, Clemons) and Burt Farm & Livestock Site 5 #62502 (2860 170th St, Marshalltown). The board appointed Mark Eaton to the county’s Condemnation Compensation Commission for a 2026 term and noted that Prime Stop Inc.’s alcoholic beverage license (LE0003882) qualified for automatic renewal; Nan Benson said that renewal was added to the consent agenda for transparency. The consent motion carried 3–0.
