Big Stone County commissioners approve minutes, agenda and claims; vendors listed

Vice-Chairman Jeff Klages and the county board approved routine business on March 3, 2026, including the minutes of the Feb. 17 meeting and the agenda for the day. Commissioner Thyne moved to approve the minutes; Commissioner Athey seconded and the motion carried with Commissioners Radermacher, Athey, Thyne, Klages and Zimmel voting aye.
Finance and Government Services Director Cindy Brehmer presented the claims for payment. The board authorized payment as presented; vendors listed above the $2,000 threshold included H2Over Viewers ($19,276.65), Engan Associates ($6,763.80), Houston Engineering ($4,497.00), Maximus ($3,500.00) and Yellow Medicine County Jail ($4,732.67). Twenty-four payments under $2,000 totaled $10,590.74. The board voted unanimously to authorize the payments.
