Applicant says licensed bartenders would be used; board seeks event-permit clarity

The applicant, April Managalp, responded that she would require licensed bartenders and include that requirement in client contracts: “With the use of a licensed bartender, yes, I did think that that was fine,” she said. Staff advised that special-event permits and the business-license department would review and confirm any event-day alcohol requirements before a business could routinely serve alcohol on site.
