Representatives from Green Mountain Power briefed the Selectboard on ongoing infrastructure work along Route 100. Tim Jones said upgrades to power lines and some underground segments are underway and expected to move south of the village by the end of June.
Addressing concerns about tree removal during construction, Jones said, "trees are being removed only on private property and with permission." The Selectboard thanked the GMP representatives for the update and had no formal action at the meeting.
