Pulos calls for federal AI regulator and moratorium on new AI data centers

Pulos described his technical background — postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School using AI on electronic health records and contract research with annotation firm Scale AI — as informing his policy prescriptions. He also cited union and workplace examples, arguing workers should have a voice in how AI is deployed. The candidate characterized his approach as combining safety review of new model releases with enforceable regulations for companies.
