The Lower Allen Township Board of Commissioners voted to approve a financial‑security reduction for SLD 2024‑11 (Sheets Hartsdale Drive) in the amount of $938,044.55, reducing the security held from $956,195 to $18,150.45.
Director Sweeney summarized the township engineer's recommendation and said staff will reach out to the developer’s traffic consultant (TPD) to complete the outstanding traffic counts. Commissioner Schwartz moved to approve Financial Security Reduction Request No. 1 in the amount of $938,044.55; the motion was seconded and passed 5–0. Sweeney told the board that staff had observed few complaints from residents and that most traffic movements of concern had been from nearby residents rather than construction traffic.
The board approved the reduction while directing staff to follow up with the traffic consultant and to maintain security for the remaining listed items until certified by the township engineer.
