Council approves TBID lawsuit settlement and hears first reading of Ordinance 604 updating nuisance code

He told the council he left unchanged the provision regarding emergency abatement entry into a home, explaining that recent court rulings indicate a court order is not required in true emergent situations and that the Nuisance Committee will meet and document findings of fact for such emergencies. The council approved Ordinance 604 on first reading.
