The Planning Commission voted unanimously (4–0) to recommend denial of a zone change for the Coopers Landing subdivision that would rezone the property from Agriculture to Commercial Highway.
Commissioner Marty McFadden moved to recommend denial and Commissioners Losee, McFadden, Roberts and Skola voted in favor. Commissioners reiterated concerns already raised during the General Plan discussion: building height, traffic and driveway locations, and the proposal’s fit with the surrounding residential character. The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be forwarded to the City Council for final determination.
