The Brownsburg Town Council approved a third and final reading of an annexation ordinance affecting a 4.5-acre parcel at 8720 East County Road 750 North and rezoned the property to industrial I-2 to match surrounding phases.
Planner Miss Williams told council the parcel is surrounded on three sides by phase one of the larger project and that the applicant submitted commitments identical to earlier phases but removed data centers as a permitted use. Council asked no substantive follow-up questions; a motion to adopt passed on third reading and the council recorded the item as passing 4-0.
The adopted commitments mirror prior phase conditions except for the removed data-center use; the applicant’s representative, Andy Barroker, was present for questions but none were raised that altered the commitments. Next steps include updating town maps and zoning records to reflect the annexation and forwarding any required administrative filings.
