The City of Grand Prairie has called a special election for Saturday, January 31 to fill the at-large vacancy in City Council Place 8, the presenter said. The winning candidate will serve the remainder of the three-year term, which ends in May 2027.
Presenter (S1) named the five candidates on the ballot: Rodney Anderson, Anna Coco, Mary Dominguez Santini, Amber Lucky and Michelle Madden. The city described the election as filling an unexpired term following a recent departure from office.
