Board approves conduit and fiber bore across Louisa County roads

The Louisa County Board of Supervisors approved two separate right-of-way construction applications during its Jan. 13 meeting. County Engineer Adam Shutt presented the weekly update and the board voted to approve Interstate Power & Light Company’s application to install conduit from an existing pole and cross 130th Street to the south at 12087 130th Street in Wapello.
In a separate motion the board approved Louisa Communications’ application to bore fiber under County Road X37 to serve a new building at County Road X37 and 70th Street. Both approvals were made by motions on the record; movers and seconders are recorded in the minutes.
