The Homewood City Council voted unanimously to adopt an ordinance installing yield signs and striping a yield line at the intersection of Rumson Road and Yorkshire Drive. Staff said the measure aims to provide clearer right-of-way guidance and enhance safety at the intersection after an initial reading on July 13.
"This action is intended to provide clearer right of way guidance and enhance safety at this intersection," staff told council before the vote. Mayor Andrews recorded the ordinance as number 2985 after the council approved it 5–0. There was no further debate or recorded amendments.
