The Planning Commission approved the final plat for Creekstone Bluff Section 1 (FP2614) by a 4–0 vote after city staff reported the plat conforms to the previously approved detailed development plan.
Aaron Sorel said the section covers 17.4 acres and includes 39 building lots, a detention pond and a lift station that will be constructed next to the retention basin. "Fire had no substantial comments nor did the city engineer. We recommend approval of the final plat for Creekstone Bluff Section 1," Sorel said.
Pat Holding of Rockford Homes told the commission crews have been clearing and that demolition of barns and a house on the site "should be happening in the next week or so." He also said the developer recently submitted a landscaping and sign package and expects construction to proceed once the plat is recorded.
