Commission highlights June youth fishing derby, July time capsule and July 4 parade preparations

Fox and other commissioners also described plans for a city time-capsule: "we do have a time capsule burial on July 18, and that'll be right here behind City Hall," a commissioner said, adding that the capsule will be loaded on July 4 at Cloud Park and that submissions should be made online for vetting. Commissioners also confirmed the city's July 4 parade and festival at the park and encouraged commissioners to expect volunteer requests in advance of the events.
