New member sworn in as Arts and Beautification Commission begins summer work

Sarah Chapman, chair of the Huber Heights Arts and Beautification Commission, opened the meeting and administered the oath of office to a newly appointed commission member referred to in the meeting as Shideh. "I do solemnly swear or affirm to support the Constitution of the United States," Chapman led as the oath was recited, and the new member was invited to sign the oath form after the ceremony.
Chapman welcomed the member to the commission and noted the group still has one open seat. The chair said the commission is excited to grow its volunteer ranks and review plans for events and projects later this year, including the commission's June Shark Tank pitching event and fall outreach to schools.
