Marcy Jones re-elected chair; Al Hamilton elected vice chair of advisory committee
Summary
The advisory committee appointed Marcy Jones to continue as chair and elected Al Hamilton as vice chair for FY27 by roll-call votes; both motions passed unanimously.
At the July 29 meeting the committee nominated and voted on officers for FY27. Howard nominated Marcy Jones to continue as chair; the nomination was moved and seconded and passed on a roll-call vote. Later the committee nominated Al Hamilton for vice chair; he accepted and the committee approved the nomination by roll call.
The Chair thanked members for their support, and the committee noted the transition as Andrew Pfaff leaves Advisory for the Select Board and Al Hamilton returns to Advisory. Both officer elections were approved unanimously by present members.
These officer appointments will carry through the coming budget cycle as the committee continues substantive review of budget policies and the possible override.
