The Huber Heights City Council on June 8 adopted two resolutions authorizing collective bargaining agreements with the Fraternal Order of Police Labor Council Inc., covering sergeants and lieutenants in the police division for the period Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2028. City Manager John Russell reminded council of discussions held in executive session regarding the contracts and the council followed its work-session recommendation to adopt the agreements.
Council moved and seconded the measures and adopted them by roll call vote with an 8–0 tally on each item. The city recorded the votes publicly and the measures were adopted at first reading, per the council's work-session recommendation.
