Huber Heights issues proclamations honoring EMS workers, police and junior wushu athletes

A fire division representative recounted a recent call in which prehospital whole blood was administered and credited that care with improving a 21‑year‑old patient’s recovery. "We were able to get him full blood, which helped his recovery," a firefighter said after the EMS proclamation. A police division representative accepted the National Police Week proclamation and thanked the council on behalf of the department: "On behalf of the hard and working men and women of the police division, we thank you for the proclamation." The mayor noted the city’s pride in local youth athletes; Minh Tran, MacGregor Burns and Cameron Dombra shared competition experiences and head instructor Vincent Meng described Meng’s Martial Arts’ 40‑year tradition.
