Board approves limited-term HR intern to digitize county personnel files

Human Resource Director Trisha Lepke said the HR department has had a vacant intern position for several years and needs help converting paper files to an electronic system, updating policies and streamlining recruitment. The position will be non-benefit eligible and funded within the department’s current salaries budget, with no projected impact on the county levy.
The board adopted Resolution 2023-36 on a motion by Supv Taylor, seconded by Supv Olson, by unanimous voice vote. The resolution authorizes filling the limited-term intern position for 2023 so long as the HR salaries budget is not exceeded.
