County staff report: printer transition near complete, financial assessment delivered, 17 positions open

The Administrative Coordinator's report at the April 18 meeting detailed several county operational items. The report noted: "The Countywide printer/copier transition is 97% complete." A new county credit card account is being transitioned for use by all departments, and a financial needs assessment has been completed and provided to the Board. Bobbi Johnson will present an overview of that assessment to the Finance Committee.
The Board was told budget worksheets will be distributed to department heads in July and proposed budgets will be presented to committees in September. The minutes record there are currently 17 open positions within Vernon County. The General Government Committee has established priorities for the interim position while Amy Oliver continues to serve as Grants Manager.
