Vernon County Board elects three to Human Services Committee

The Vernon County Board elected three members to the Human Services Committee during its April 18 meeting. Supv Semke nominated Supv Schweiger to fill the seat vacated by Supv Bringe; the nomination was seconded by Supv Bringe and, with no further nominations, Supv Schweiger was elected by voice vote to a three‑year term.
Supv Taylor nominated Supv Pedretti to the seat Pedretti already held; Supv Stanek seconded the nomination and the Board re‑elected Supv Pedretti to a three‑year term by voice vote. Supv Eggen nominated citizen member Nancy Bongers, seconded by Supv Pedretti; with no other nominations, Nancy Bongers was re‑elected as the citizen member for a three‑year term.
Chair Lorn Goede called the question on each uncontested nomination and the Board recorded all votes in favor. These elections fill the three seats on the Human Services Committee noted on the agenda.
