COA Director Jodi Magee, calling in by telephone, told the board the agency has two openings in its meal-delivery positions and said the hires "do not exceed budgeted positions." Commissioner Robert Baldwin moved to approve the resolution and Commissioner Truman Bicum supported the motion. The board took a roll-call vote: Baldwin, yes; Bicum, yes; Comai, yes; Persons, yes; Fisher, yes; Commissioners Scott Matley and Jeff Sieting were absent. The motion carried 5–0 with two absent.
The resolution authorizes the COA director to proceed with hiring for the two vacancies. No additional budget increase was stated during the meeting; Magee's comment indicated the positions fit within existing personnel allocations. The board did not attach additional conditions or amendments in the motion.
The special meeting began at 2:21 PM and adjourned at 2:29 PM after the vote. No further personnel actions were discussed during the session.
