Midwest House summit aims to connect innovators across the region, cofounder says

Ted Veil, cofounder of Midwest House, described the platform as a connector for innovators, creators and investors across the Midwest and said the group creates a physical Midwest House at major events to showcase regional activity.
"We are a platform for connecting innovators, creators, investors, etcetera, in the Midwest with each other and with the world," Veil said, noting Midwest House's origins at South by Southwest and that this Columbus summit is only the second major Midwest House summit after a Michigan meeting last year.
Panelists emphasized Midwest House's role in creating "density" and bringing people together from cities that are often treated as separate markets. Veil said the organization intentionally travels and convenes to build relationships, and the panel urged attendees to use regional gatherings to introduce partners and expand local ecosystems.
