Ari and Harry from the Two Rivers-Ottauquechee Regional Commission (TRORC) told the committee there is availability for additional building audits of town-owned structures and for traffic, speed and pedestrian studies. They said the sidewalk study included a recommendation for a sidewalk along School Street.
Committee members noted that, with the sidewalk study submitted to the town, Sharon could apply to the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) for grants in the next cycle. Dee reported the town has submitted an application for a crosswalk beacon on Route 132 by the church; no decision or funding award was reported at the meeting.
