Traill County WRD authorizes $165,000 bond to repair three Murray Drain No. 17 bridges
Summary
The board approved a resolution authorizing $165,000 in Maintenance Levy Improvement Bonds, Series 2026A, to fund repairs to Bridge Nos. 223, 292 and 304 on Murray Drain No. 17; culvert materials have been ordered and Moore Engineering will coordinate delivery.
At the March 17 meeting bond counsel Katie Schmidt reviewed a resolution authorizing the issuance of "$165,000 Maintenance Levy Improvement Bonds, Series 2026A" to fund repairs for Murray Drain No. 17 Bridge Nos. 223, 292 and 304. Manager Lovas moved to approve the resolution and authorize the Chair and Secretary to sign; Manager Thompson seconded the motion and it carried by unanimous roll call vote.
Board engineer Andrew Smith reported culvert materials for the three bridge sites have been ordered and Moore Engineering will coordinate delivery and installation. The board recorded the bond authorization and moved forward with contracting steps needed to effect the repairs.
